Dutch Government Blocks Betfair Operations

The government sent a letter to local banks asking to block any payments intended for betting. These moves are clearly in breach with EU internal market rules.
Betfair stated that such actions unfairly protect local gaming companies and breaks EU rules on the free movement of services and capital.
