Sports lovers cannot be happier these days. Modern technology allows them to place bets on their favorite sports irrespective of their location. And growing number of online sports betting sites gives punters opportunity to choose among many sportsbooks. However, how to choose the right bookmaker to wager in?

Some of the well known names include Unibet, Bwin and Ladbrokes. Unibet was awarded best sportsbook of year 2008 by reputable eGaming Review Magazine. Bwin is considered the biggest online bookmaker in the world. Moreover, Bwin sponsors top football teams such as AC Milan and Real Madrid. Ladbrokes was given best UK sportsbook award of year 2008. Obviously, these are top and most reliable bookmakers to wager in.

One of the well-known sportsbook reviewers is SBR. It seems to have more or less reliable list of top sports betting sites. Suspicious part about its rating is presence of many offshore bookmakers in the top list. SBR must have some special relationship with these bookies.

You can find our official and SBR ratings at www.bestbookmakers.net and check out some of the best online sportsbooks available today. But we would recommend to go with big names.

Unibet states that French regulations would force them to change their model of business, strategy and products.

However, keeping in mind that Unibet signed number of sponsorship deals in France recently, it seems that it will obtain French lisence. Possibly, the company is trying to bring the issue up to public debate in attempt to force policy revision.
